Welcome to calmflect. By using the app you agree to these terms. Please read them — they are short on purpose.

1. Who we are

calmflect is provided by the developers of calmflect. You can reach us at hello@calmflect.com.

2. Eligibility

calmflect is intended for personal use by people aged 16 or older. If you are younger, please use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to use calmflect on devices you own or control. Please don't copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the app.

4. Your content

The questions, notes, and entries you write are yours. They are stored only on your device — we never receive a copy. You are responsible for the content you record and for keeping your own backups if you want them.

5. Wellbeing disclaimer

calmflect is a journaling and self-reflection tool. It is NOT medical, psychological, or mental-health advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are struggling or in crisis, please contact a doctor, a local mental-health service, or emergency services. In the EU you can reach emergency services on 112.

6. Intellectual property

The app itself — its design, code, and the catalogue of reflection questions — belongs to us and is protected by law. These terms don't transfer any of those rights to you beyond the licence above.

7. Sign in with Apple

Signing in with Apple is optional. If you use it, your use is also subject to Apple's own terms. We only ever store a one-way hash of your Apple identifier on your device (see the Privacy Policy).

8. The app is provided “as is”

calmflect is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for any loss of entries or data.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

10. Ending use

You may stop using calmflect at any time by deleting the app, which also deletes your data. We may discontinue the app or update these terms; we'll note material changes inside the app.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the EU country in which the developers reside, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
